NTMA Honor Awards
The National Terrazzo and Mosaic Association annually conducts the awards program to honor member contractors for executing exceptional terrazzo work. Projects are judged on the basis of excellence in design and implementation, quality, and craftsmanship. The judging process is completely non-biased and conducted by a panel of terrazzo experts who are not made aware of the contractor or location of each job they are evaluating.
The judging for the Honor Awards consists of five terrazzo experts in the fields of architecture, design, and contracting. Their decision is based upon:
▪ Excellence in craftsmanship
▪ Excellence in design
▪ Scope of installation
The terrazzo industry’s highest recognition, is the Job of the Year, the best project among the 13 – 15 Honor Award Winners.
